I came home after work yesterday and find an envelope with a 3 DVD movie called Bucket & Boomer’s Prospecting Adventures, Randsburg Edition… 3 DVDs equals 6 hours of watching and I actually sat through the whole thing yesterday afternoon and evening.Not claiming to be experts at anything these guys take you through planning to leaving the Randsburg, CA area on a one week trip.
They start out with VLF beepers and go through drywashing and spiral wheeling. Bury some GEO Cashe’s and appear to be fun to party with as well….Seriously for beginners this shows the preparation that goes into a one week trip as well as methods of gold recovery in desert placers. Not sure how one get’s one of these DVD sets as I was not given a whole lot of info, but pretty sure these fellers lurk here some and may speak up. Have seen Bucket make a post or two as well….
Fun to watch and an eye opener to those that have only watched the one hour “show up and find a bunch of gold videos” common on TV. Lot of work goes into and happens during a trip like this, but hey Bucket “slow and Low” Yes this is a shameless plug as I enjoyed the video and they plug my site and our forum in it.”
